THE GRANGE SPRING LECTURE:"Morris and Beowulf" presented by Andy Orchard
The Music Room of the Grange, Art Gallery of Ontario
Andy Orchard is a world-renowned Anglo Saxon scholar and professor at the
University of Toronto's Centre for Medieval Studies. His illustrated lecture
will discuss Morris's translation and publication of the Old English
masterpiece, "Beowulf."
IMPORTANT: Numbers are limited to 50 (members only). To reserve your ticket now
for this event telephone the Art Gallery of Ontario at (416) 979-6608 and ask
for ticket reservation. They will require your Visa etc. The cost per ticket is
$12 CDN. Your tickets will be mailed to you, or held in your name; you will be able
to pick them up on the day of the lecture. Book early as this event sells out.
Refreshments will be served.
